Frequently Asked Questions

No, generally not!  Most of our clients opt for a level of service that does not require upfront payment for our services and payment is on a “success only” basis meaning you only pay once an employee shows up on the first day of work.  We do have options for executive search in which our clients would like for us to invest in particular resources and technologies (ex: advertisements in specific publications or conferences, psychometric assessments, pre-paid airfare for interviews) that would require an upfront payment for a portion of the costs, but these need to be discussed on an individual basis.  Our non-recruitment services may also incur some upfront fees.

It depends on a number of factors such as the level of seniority for the hire, the number of people you are hiring, over what period of time those people will be hired, the level of service your require, urgency of the search, exclusivity of the search, location of search, type of position, difficulty of search, post-placement candidate support and guarantees, terms of payment, and many other factors.

No, the hiring company pays a separate fee for recruitment service.

As a trusted advisor and partner to our clients, we are hired to find and present only the most suitable candidates to our clients.  Beyond the skills and experiences listed on the job description, there are many other factors that we, as professional hiring partners, must assess before determining if it is worth your time and our client’s time to have a preliminary meeting.  Some of these factors include understanding your long term career goals and whether the particular company and position we are representing will help you achieve those goals, your fit into our client’s corporate culture, and any past interaction you may have had with this client either as a former candidate, a business partner, advisory capacity, or other relationship.  Rest assured that if you are selected for an interview, we will release full information about the client so that you can properly prepare for your interview.
